Plum and Wine Popsicles

Ack, so we never got a chance to meet up with the Mom’s club Wednesday. I mean, we got there, but when I arrived, I didn’t see anyone I recognized and it looked like they were having  a birthday party so we just played on our own. It wasn’t until later that they told me it was them. In a weird, social anxiety/awkwardness way, it worked out cause they had their own Happy Baby Company truck giving out frozen treats, so my ice cream was totally not even needed and I would’ve felt all weird with my humble homemade ice cream. More for us at least!

Oh, oh, but I wanted to talk to you about something before I forget again. I’ve been thinking about coming out with an ebook. Nothing major, just a book of maybe 30 – 40 sweet breakfasts (thanks everyone who suggested that on facebook!). What do you think? Would you be interested in something like that? I am thinking really decadent types of breakfasts like chocolate peanut butter fudge pancakes and “candy bar” breakfast rolls, quick and easy breakfasts, and maybe even a section on healthy sweet options and smoothie. Whaddya say?

Let me know in the comments.

In the meantime let’s talk about these popsicles. I’ve been all over these popsicles the past two weeks. If you are like me and have a bit of a love affair with wine, these popsicles are for you (and go really well with a glass of wine on the side!). I was inspired by the plum wine I would always order when my friends and I would go to Wagamama. I honestly haven’t thought of the noodle bar in ages, but I just bought their cookbook and all the memories came flooding back. The stores near actual me didn’t have any, so I thought instead I would take the literal road and mix ripe plums with my favorite pinot noir. Best. decision. Ever.

These popsicles are so addictive and are lightly sweet with a wonderful balance of wine and plum. I promise you won’t be able to just have just one!
